cFive Offers Free Software to Community Supervision Agencies to Help Keep Officers and Communities Safe During the Coronavirus Pandemic
cFive is making sure community supervision agencies have the opportunity to sign up for free accounts on its Catalyst Engagement and Behavior Change Platform.
TUSTIN, California (March 17, 2020) — cFive Solutions, Inc. announced today it is immediately making available free use of its Catalyst engagement and behavior change platform to help community supervision agencies reduce high-risk interactions during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. Catalyst is an engagement and behavior change platform that combines an administrative website for case managers with a secure mobile app for clients, and it enables officers to have seamless remote interactions with their clients.
To help agencies safely navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, cFive is offering the messaging component of Catalyst free-of-charge to any community supervision agency during the COVID-19 crisis. “Using Catalyst’s secure messaging, case managers can communicate with their clients in a way that guarantees the identity of the client and avoids many risky COVID-19 community spread scenarios such as crowded waiting rooms, use of public transportation, and person-to-person contact,” explained James Newman, cFive Senior Vice President.
“In light of the potential impact COVID-19 could have throughout our communities, there has never been a greater need for proactive use of technology,” said Newman. “Catalyst provides the ability to truly help keep people safe, and we knew we had to do all in our power to support the health and welfare of community supervision professionals, their clients and communities.”
“We’re grateful for cFive’s COVID-19 Support Program, which is allowing the Cleveland Municipal Court to expand our use of Catalyst to cover our entire client population, limiting face-to-face meetings,” said Dean Jenkins, Chief Probation Officer, Cleveland Municipal Court. “Because Catalyst is easy for both clients and case managers to adopt, we’ve been able to react quickly to the changing requirements of this crisis. cFive is a long-standing partner to community supervision, and their willingness to provide Catalyst for free demonstrates their commitment.”
cFive will make its Catalyst software available for free to agencies to enroll their clients for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic on a first-come, first-served basis. To apply for the Catalyst COVID-19 Support Program, please contact James Newman or go to https://www.cfive.com/cfive-covid-19-support-program/ to apply.
“At cFive we believe the safety and well-being of the nation is everyone’s responsibility,” added Newman. “It is our hope that this small contribution can help save lives and manage the impact of COVID-19 for those under supervision, those serving them in the criminal justice arena, and their communities.”
